The University of Sioux Falls is a beautiful college located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Founded in 1883, USF has grown drastically not only in size, but in the things they offer. With top notch sports teams, athletes should really check this one out!
Amount of Majors: 54
Aesthetics:
USF has a beautiful campus with some not so beautiful qualities. The campus itself is always clean, however, it is showing its age. This is very apparent in the older buildings on campus. The dorms are just the typical small college dorm, and will do just fine if you plan on just sleeping in or relaxing.
Affordability:
Just like with other private schools, USF comes with a big price tag. Coming in at an average price of $33,000 dollars per year, it is cheaper than its rival, Augustana. However, USF has massive amounts of scholarships! You can see them here; http://m.usiouxfalls.edu/financial-aid/
Acceptance Rates:
Average ACT: 23 Average SAT: 1345
USF is a college looking to grow. This shows with its 97.4% acceptance rates. So don't be afraid to apply!
Activities on Campus:
Just like most christian colleges, USF is a Greek Life free campus. However there are other activities to do there such as Pilates, Yoga, and Zumba. These are just some of the activities and we are unsure how many there are for sure. There are some neat clubs on campus such as the 80's video remake club and FCA.
Food:
There is much to be desired with USF's food. They do offer special diet accommodations, but do not have much for choices. The food they do have is very bland, and in some cases with the meat, rubbery and chewy. However, coffee drinkers can rejoice with the Java City located on campus!
All in all USF is a nice school but it is showing its age. The overall price is very competitive with other private schools and is cheaper to go to than its rival, Augustana. If you get academic or athletic scholarships, be sure to take a tour!
